Facebook users reel from porn spam attack

For the past few days, I have been hearing about Facebook's news feeds spammed with pornographic and violent pictures on people's news feeds from Facebook users. From what they say in the article, Facebook is currently working on addressing the issue and take a course of action against the pornographic and violent photos being posted. They may restrict how users use Facebook now as a social network.

I believe a lot of it has to do with Facebook spammers, they constantly want users to click on their stuff or accept their malicious applications. Many users will accept a certain app or share news feeds to where everyone of their friends and family see these sick and disgusting pictures. They said someone had tweeted, "Facebook use to be friends and family, now Facebook is a porn site". Just imagine yourself signing into your Facebook account and then someone underage nearby watches you login into Facebook to see the news feed full of porn and gore images. This isn't right..

A friend of mine at work said he just wants to see status updates, no apps, games, or porn from the news feeds. I completely agree with him, I also just want to see the updates, nothing more. He has considered deleting his Facebook account a few times now. The only thing keeping me from removing mine is because of family and friends who use it more than Twitter or don't use Twitter.

In conclusion, I do agree that Facebook does need to get to the bottom of this and get it taken care of. It maybe a lot of work to clean up, but if they are really concerned about their users, they will take action.
